Job Summary

Contribute to the enhancement of the Military's Quality of Life initiatives by joining the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) department under the Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC). This department offers a range of services such as fitness activities, recreational programs, lodging, and food and beverage options for service members, their families, retired military personnel, and civilian employees. The role will be part of the Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Fitness, Sports, and Deployed Support Branch at Fleet Readiness, under the oversight of the Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) situated at Naval Base Kitsap.



Job Duties
  • Provide direct customer service to facility patrons at Naval Station Everett.
  • Greet customers, manage telephone inquiries, and offer information about facility services and programs.
  • Participate in the planning, coordination, and execution of classes and special events.
  • Supervise programs at a customer facility with various stations, which may include areas like computer stations, gaming zones, movie/TV rooms, reading corners, bowling alleys, children's play zones, multipurpose rooms, and a small snack bar.
  • Operate an 8 or 15 passenger van, maintain trip records, track participant counts, and ensure equipment is well-maintained.
  • Disseminate relevant information to customers.
  • Handle collection and safekeeping of any funds collected through fees or charges.
  • Assist in daily cleaning tasks for equipment and the facility, along with any other assigned duties.
  • Potentially engage in the Paintball Program.
  • Supervise activities and services for authorized patrons, including providing guidance on equipment usage, along with equipment and field upkeep.
  • Perform any other duties as allocated.
