Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Community Manager to join our team at Investment Property Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities at one of our conventional apartment communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the management of the community, including leasing, resident services, and maintenance
  • Conduct unit inspections and ensure compliance with company procedures
  • Collaborate with the community manager to achieve operational goals and objectives
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction and retention
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to resident concerns in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

  • One year of park management or property management experience, preferably with a portfolio of 100 doors or more
  • Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to make prompt decisions under pressure and identify areas for improvement
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other regulations governing multi-family housing operations
  • Bonus skills: Yardi or OneSite experience, bilingual (Spanish), two years of previous sales experience
