Vaco is recruiting for an Assistant Controller in the logistic industry, right here in Phoenix. Our client is looking to add to their team of growing professionals. Responsibilities include:
  • Managing the month-end closing process and reconciliations
  • Supervise and mentor accounting and other staff
  • Evaluating close process and improving days to close
  • Developing improved processes and controls
  • Managing monthly accounting cycle in a high volume environment


Minimum requirements:
  • 5 or more years of experience in accounting
  • 3 or more years of experience as an Assistant Controller or Accounting Manager
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and internal control structures
  • Ability to grow into a Controller position
  • BS or BA in Accounting
