Position Title: Building Automation Controls Foreman

Key Responsibilities:

Client Engagement:

  • Act as the representative for EMCOR Government Services.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with clients and contractors.

Project Management:

  • Oversee the financial performance of assigned construction projects.
  • Communicate project updates and challenges to Project Managers.
  • Review project submissions and materials for precision.
  • Ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Provide technical assistance to installation teams.
  • Deliver comprehensive verbal and written reports.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers on design modifications, graphics, and programming.
  • Monitor project manpower requirements and forecasts.
  • Participate in construction meetings as the representative of EMCOR.
  • Uphold company standards for installation quality.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight (8) years of hands-on experience in automation with control systems and programming.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Electrical or Mechanical) or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proficient in at least three HVAC control systems (preferably Delta, JCI, or Andover).
  • Ability to engage with clients at both supervisory and management levels.
  • Engineering competencies should include knowledge of electronics, mechanics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and programming.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Experience in control system architecture design, programming, or maintenance is preferred.
  • Good computer literacy and understanding of control networking are required.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
