Job DescriptionThis position will play a key role in executing the company's strategic growth plan to operate additional high-quality hotels within top markets. The position will touch all phases of the development process and ultimately be responsible for taking projects from paper to tangible assets and successfully growing our portfolio. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with the team and have a skillset that complements the other team member's with this position focused on the sales responsibilities to be able to leverage department tools to uncover business contacts and to reach out and engage with key decisions makers in targeted organizations. This position will be focused on building relationships and utilizing a sales focused skillset.
Ability to source business using the tools that we have at our fingertips and uncover leads and decision makers at targeted accountsExcel knowledge to effectively underwrite potential deals
Core foundation in selling skills and able to break through into organizations to effectively move business
Understanding of the hotel operational fundamental principles and being able to apply that knowledge in discussions with potential owners / partners
Strong ability to develop and implement strategies to grow the company's management contract portfolio.
Experience in market analysis to identify opportunities for expansion and new market entry.
Ability to present and pitch investment opportunities to potential partners effectively.
Familiarity with financial modeling and feasibility analysis for hotel projects.
Proven ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse groups.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans to achieve business growth objectives.
Skilled in evaluating market conditions and adapting strategies to capitalize on emerging opportunities.
Strong analytical skills to assess potential deals and their alignment with company goals.
Collaborative approach to work with internal departments, such as finance, operations, and legal, to support deal execution.
Solid understanding of financial statements, budgets, and economic principles related to the hotel industry.
Ability to conduct financial due diligence and risk assessment for potential projects.
Experience in preparing and presenting detailed investment proposals and business cases.
Ability to leverage technology for market research and data analysis.
The ideal candidate for this position Our ideal candidate is an experienced leader that can quickly develop relationships across a wide range of internal and external partners. It will be critical to lead and multi-task several projects simultaneously, requiring a disciplined and detail-oriented approach. Specific qualifications include:Bachelor's Degree is required.
2-4+ years of hotel Sales experience.
Prior hotel valuation, brokerage or acquisition analyst experience a plus.
1-3 years of direct hospitality operations related work is a plus.
Existing relationships with various brand development contacts is a plus.
Self-motivated, well-organized, goal-oriented, and results-driven professional.
Advanced level of proficiency in Excel.
Sensitivity to and respect for the confidential nature of the subject matter of the job and the department.
