JOB REQUISITES AND OVERVIEW :

The Strategist will act as an Account Manager to lead on full-service agency accounts. The primary role of this position is to run projects independently and provide strategic support for our Client Services team, which oversees accounts and strategy for clients utilizing two or more service lines. The job entails managing a wide range of marketing processes, teams, and projects related to daily operations across a variety of clients. In this role, you'll strategize to produce real results and in doing so, you'll build your skill sets and client experience. Beyond that, we'll further your development with training on general AI usage, data usage and compliance.

A full-time remote option may be discussed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Act as main client contact including:

  • Planning and leading weekly status calls
  • Develop a specific marketing strategy based on the client's overall objectives
  • Oversee all efforts related to client operations including:
  • Overall strategy direction and oversight, client goals, KPIs and performance
  • Coordinate with all agency solution lines across Paid, Earned and Owned tactics
  • Track campaign and sales to support long term client development and performance
  • Analyze reporting and generate meaningful insights that inform strategy
  • Research marketing and general industry trends and leverage key findings to provide value to clients
  • Organize and manage billing efforts effectively, including invoicing, settlements, reconciliation, etc.
  • Implement new and manage existing project management/tracking system for documenting and tracking activity efficiently
  • Report regularly to supervisor & clients on current work and progress
  • Review feedback from clients to ensure client satisfaction and assess and adjust ongoing procedures as necessary.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES NEEDED TO PERFORM THE JOB :

  • Sound understanding of marketing principles
  • Working knowledge of agency solution lines across Paid, Earned and Owned tactics
  • Effective understanding of media, trends, developments and various applications
  • Embracing the latest technologies, including AI applications in marketing, ability to apply them in marketing for reporting, data analysis, and market research
  • Staying abreast of developments in AI and machine learning technologies, particularly LLMs, to continually enhance our marketing strategies and capabilities
  • Willingness to share creative and innovative thoughts with team members and clients
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to operate under solid pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint a plus
  • Effective project management skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously, assess timelines, budgets, risks and dependencies autonomously
  • Self-motivated, confident, energetic, and creative
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Budgeting and expense reporting skills

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a marketing role
  • BS/BA degree preferred or relevant experience
