Job Title: Retail Receiving Specialist
Reports To: Retail Receiving Manager
Job Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or appropriate work experience required. College
graduate preferred. Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language at
a level sufficient to communicate effectively with staff, guests and vendors.
Training and Experience: Retail receiving experience preferred. Must be detail-oriented
with strong communication skills. Effective prioritization skills and time management
skills. Productivity driven and task oriented. Needs to be a team player. Valid driver's
license required.
Job Knowledge: Good computer skills and knowledge of Outlook, Jonas preferred.
Knowledgeable of retail computer programs and reports. Good oral and written
communication skills. Needs to be detailed oriented and a self-motivated individual.
Job Summary: Accurately tickets merchandise for all Retail Outlets on property, including
Gallery of Shops, Surf Shop, Lodge Shop, Golf Pro Shop and Racquet Club. Quickly
identifies any discrepancies or damages in vendor shipments, notifying Receiving
Manager in a timely manner. Makes deliveries to Retail Outlets.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, to include weekends, holidays and overtime if required.Arrive to work on time, consistently.
Upon entering the property, arrive in professional attire, crisp, clean and in good repair.
Hair must be clean and cut in a becoming style; management has final approval.
Attend all required training, safety courses; attend office and departmental meetings.
Report any safety hazards on property and in receiving area. Ensure receiving area is a safe work environment and maintain first aid kit.
Accurately ticket all retail merchandise.
Communicate with Retail Manager to determine prioritization of merchandise.
Must be detail oriented to inspect merchandise and realize color and size discrepancies or damages.
Manage the processing of damaged goods, send, supply replenishments and RTVs.
Transfer and deliver merchandise to correct shop locations. .
Organize and prepare shops and receiving areas for inventory counts.
Assist in all retail inventories for shops. Perform recounts after inventory team. .
Perform and follow-up on any other duties as assigned by the Retail Receiving Manager.
