Job Summary

Fisher Island Club is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Tennis Pro Shop Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our tennis program, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members and guests, while also assisting with the overall operation of the Pro Shop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Pro Shop Manager in maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and ensuring that all members and guests receive exceptional service.
  • Stock and sell merchandise, including tennis equipment and apparel.
  • Answer phone calls and take messages for the Pro Shop.
  • Check players in and assign courts as needed.
  • Assist with arranging games and court reservations for members.
  • Record daily sales and maintain accurate records.
  • Ensure the Pro Shop, bathrooms, and court-yard area are clean and well-maintained.
  • Restock towels, cups, and soda for players.
  • Assist the Tennis Director and Pro Shop Manager as needed to support the tennis program.
Requirements
  • High school diploma preferred.
  • Computer skills and multi-lingual abilities are a plus.
  • Retail experience is also preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of tennis, pickleball, racket stringing, and tennis equipment is a plus.
Working Conditions
  • Indoor business environment with some outdoor assignments.
  • Able to lift 15 pounds or more.
