The Programmatic Solutions Manager is a key member of our Programmatic Team and supports the growth of our relationships with clients and agency trading desks. The Programmatic Solutions Manager has a deep understanding of programmatic advertising; specifically understanding the organizational makeup of an Agency Trading Desk, and uses that knowledge to evangelize the benefits of programmatic advertising to clients while also educating internal teams.

This role works primarily to support our sales team in growing our relationships with high level contacts, securing programmatic spend and act as a programmatic consultant for the various accounts in the West Coast region.

Note: GumGum fosters a flexible work environment, offering GumGummers the ability to work either in-office or remotely/from home. However, for occasional in-person collaboration, we kindly ask that this position be located within a 'commutable' distance to our office.

What You'll Achieve

  • Support Sales team to grow Programmatic Business
    • Assist sales and support teams in securing and managing programmatic buys as the West Coast programmatic expert.
    • Attend client meetings to explain technology, DSP setup, campaign troubleshooting, optimization, and best practices.
  • Grow Programmatic Spend
    • Assist in senior-level meetings at agency trading desks to expand GumGum's programmatic presence.
    • Drive technical setup for clients and agencies to manage advertising spend.
  • Programmatic Expert for East Coast Accounts
    • Liaise between clients and DSP to activate and measure campaigns.
    • Provide campaign metrics to internal teams and clients.
    • Stay updated on GumGum's programmatic offerings and DSP platforms.
    • Track regional programmatic trends and use data to improve campaigns.
    • Monitor and optimize individual campaign performance.

Skills You'll Bring

  • Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years in an agency trading desk or Demand Side Platform role.
  • Expertise in Deal IDs, Real Time Bidding, and programmatic processes.
  • Experience setting up online advertising campaigns in multiple DSPs.
  • Understanding of the agency model and trading desks.
  • Strong organizational, relationship-building, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-suite.
  • Familiarity with online advertising terms and business models.
  • Proactive and organized with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Professional network in the programmatic industry.
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask.
  • Client-centric mindset and ability to work with external and internal customers.
  • Analytical mindset and logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Up-to-date with the latest programmatic landscape.

What We Offer

At GumGum, competitive base pay is a part of a total rewards package which also includes benefits, an emphasis on recognition, development, and wellness. The reasonable estimated base pay range for this role is from ($79,000 - $96,000) annually. The actual amount may be higher or lower. Individual compensation will vary based on factors including, but not limited to, relevant qualifications, work location, and labor market conditions.

The total rewards package offered also includes an employer-matched 401(k) retirement plan, and depending on the role, participation in a bonus, commission, or stock incentive program.
