We will count on you to:

  • We are looking a Senior Applications Development Analyst with expertise in the MERN (MongoDB, , , ) stack to join our dynamic development team.
  • Design, development, and maintenance of web applications using the MERN stack.
  • Collaborate with team to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Conduct thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate front-end and back-end components.
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve skills and knowledge.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the documentation of software solutions, including technical specifications and user guides
  • Candidates should have experience in full-stack software application development using the MERN stack.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, along with proficiency in data structures and algorithms.
  • A well-organized and excellent communicator who can work independently and lead initiatives across a team.

What you need to have:

  • 1-2 years of experience in software application development using an agile/iterative software development methodology.
  • 1-2 years of experience in JavaScript, React, , MongoDB, and NestJS.
  • Proficiency in data structures ang algorithms
  • Design and implement scalable and efficient microservices.
  • Develop and execute unit tests to ensure the quality and reliability of the codebase.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in HTML, CSS, and related web technologies.
  • Experience working with REST APIs and Git.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-documented code.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Implement security and data protection measures for web applications.
  • Familiarity with deployment and hosting of web applications.
  • Have experience/knowledge of cloud application development using any cloud technologies is plus

Marsh McLennan is committed to hybrid work, which includes the flexibility of working remotely and the collaboration, connections and professional development benefits of working together in the office. All Marsh McLennan colleagues are expected to be in their local office or working onsite with clients at least three days per week. Office-based teams will identify at least one "anchor day" per week on which their full team will be together in person.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $57,000 to $113,900.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
