AWS Product Marketing is seeking an experienced technical editor to edit, manage projects, and deliver high-quality content to tell the most important Amazon Web Services (AWS) stories to customers and partners. This role works to ensure that best practices and content standards are upheld for product marketing content. This is a great opportunity to play a key role in AWS, a subsidiary of and a global leader in cloud computing.
In this role, you will work closely with AWS subject matter experts, product marketers, and content managers as well as with stakeholders on the larger Product Marketing team. You'll collaborate to deliver messaging for a large, globally distributed organization.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience editing content for highly technical audiences and the ability to drive consistency and unity across complex content deliverables. You will understand the needs of technical customers and be expected to act as a customer advocate. You will have experience editing in a corporate environment and with juggling the needs of internal and external stakeholders, style and branding guidelines, and legal requirements, among other priorities. Finally, you will have solid project management experience, strong attention to detail, the ability to quickly learn new tools and processes, and excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Key job responsibilities
• Perform all levels of edit on marketing materials, including webpages, slide decks, and other items as assigned
• Ensure correct and consistent use of AWS style, branding, service/product naming conventions, and legal and messaging requirements
• Collaborate with other technical editors, technical writers, content managers, and content creators
• Manage all aspects of the editorial process on individual editing assignments
