About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Motion Designer/Editor to join our team at Aquent Talent. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for creating visually captivating motion graphics, animations, and video that enhance our brands visual storytelling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the creative team to understand project goals and requirements.
  • Develop storyboards from existing scripts and create/model/illustrate visual assets.
  • Animate in After Effects and Cinema 4D using advanced animation techniques to add life and fluidity to static designs.
  • Source and acquire appropriate footage and music from content providers.
  • Edit in Premiere Pro, iterating based on client feedback.
  • Edit and mix audio.
  • Stay up-to-date with design trends, animation techniques, and emerging technologies.
  • Work closely with design and development teams to integrate motion graphics seamlessly.
  • Ensure brand consistency and adhere to style guidelines across projects.
Requirements
  • 8-10 years of experience in the field.
  • Associates degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required. Bachelors degree in design or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Motion Designer/Editor or Animator with a strong portfolio.
  • Advanced skills in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, Figma.
  • Advanced skills in Maxon Cinema 4D/Redshift.
  • Solid understanding of design principles, typography, and composition.
  • Solid understanding of emerging AI capabilities.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and work quickly within short timelines.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and creative thinking to overcome technical challenges.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with cross-functional teams.
