HSBC is seeking an Analyst to join its Asset Based Lending Group. HSBC's Asset Based Lending Group supports the bank's Middle Market, Large Corporate and Global Banking segments targeting domestic and international companies with annual revenues ranging from $50MM to $5BN. Based in NYC, the group is looking for a talented individual to support Senior ABL Underwriting and Portfolio Managers, as well as Relationship Managers across the U.S. and globally.

As our Analyst III you will:

Collaborate with Senior Underwriting Managers, Senior Portfolio Managers, and Relationship Managers to analyze new ABL lending opportunities and manage the portfolio of existing loansConduct company and industry due diligence, collateral and financial analysis, financial modeling / projections, and legal diligence, identify transaction risks and mitigants, and prepare credit approval memorandaBuild and maintain relationships with internal and external parties, including relationship managers, the credit approval team, the collateral examination group, appraisers, legal counsel, management teams, and financial sponsorsAssist the ABL Group with various projectsEnsure compliance and operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC and regulatory standards and policiesOptimize relations with regulators by addressing any issuesPromote a positive environment that reflects the HSBC brand For this role, HSBC targets a pay range between $90,000.00 and $105, The final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and a number of variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
