Overview:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly in the origination, structuring, execution, and distribution of securitization transactions across various asset classes, including but not limited to Trade Receivables, Automotive, and Infrastructure (covering Air, Rail, and Shipping).
  • For securitization transactions funded through Crédit Agricole CIB's Asset Backed Commercial Paper Conduit or those on the bank's balance sheet, daily responsibilities encompass: (i) drafting marketing and financing documentation; (ii) portfolio analysis and monitoring; (iii) collaboration with legal, accounting, and tax professionals; (iv) aiding in the preparation and approval process of credit applications; (v) managing the booking process within banking systems and document submissions in repository systems; (vi) generating reports as required by management and other stakeholders.
  • For Term ABS and Private Placement transactions, daily tasks include: (i) crafting detailed pitch books; (ii) developing financial models and interpreting the results; (iii) assisting in negotiating terms and conditions for debt securities (144a or Private Placements) and creating the relevant financing documents; (iv) conducting research and analysis of comparable transactions; (v) actively participating in client meetings; (vi) liaising with third-party consultants (e.g., valuation firms, market analysts), legal, accounting, and tax advisors, and rating agencies; (vii) performing risk assessments to identify asset-specific, industry-related, and macroeconomic factors that could influence planned Capital Markets or Asset Backed Commercial Paper transactions; (viii) drafting Information Memoranda for Capital Markets debt placements; (ix) coordinating and participating in Capital Markets roadshows; and (x) preparing internal documentation such as underwriting and sales memoranda.

Management and Reporting:

  • Each task necessitates robust collaboration with other members of the Securitization team.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree required.

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in securitization and a degree in quantitative finance is advantageous.

Essential Competencies:

  • Strong work ethic, ability to work both collaboratively and independently, and sound judgment.
  • Exceptional analytical capabilities with the proficiency to apply Corporate Finance and Fixed Income securities theoretical knowledge to practical scenarios.
  • Outstanding writing and presentation skills.

Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

Ability to comprehend and construct financial models, including cash flow models.

Desirable Skills & Knowledge:

Proficient in Excel (knowledge of Macros is a plus), PowerPoint, Word, Bloomberg, and MS Access is advantageous.
