3. Proficient in computer skills (I.e. Microsoft, Office Professional).

4. Proficient in Outlook calendar and email.

5. Self-motivated, able to work under pressure and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

6. Demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.

7. Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and take initiative to ensure timely and accurate completion of responsibilities.

8. Possess high degree of customer service skills.

9. Experience with Human Resources data entry or comparable experience preferred.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:

230 days

SALARY:

$31,248 - CP4

Salary Range (based on experience) as set by the Board of Trustees for the school year

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1.Timely and accurately prepare correspondence, forms, manuals, schedules and reports for the Assistant Director of Human Resources for Community Programs and other department staff members using a personal computer.

2. Process criminal history record information, references, and other application data, and information pertinent to the new employee hiring and onboarding process, including but not limited to: personnel actions involving hires, transfers, and resignations.

3. Initiate the process and ensure accurate and timely record keeping of part-time personnel actions, including new hires, transfers, and resignations.

4. Maintain physical and electronic departmental personnel files and other confidential records.

5. Answer and respond to incoming calls and emails, lake reliable messages, and route to appropriate staff.

6. Greet visitors and assist employees and applicants with completing applications and required paperwork.

7. Maintain a schedule of interview appointments and meetings as required.

8. Maintain confidentiality of information.

9. Perform data-entry to maintain information and ensure accurate and timely input of applicant and/or employee data in applicable human resources systems (i.e. applicant tracking, background screening and other internal systems).

10. Provide input on human resources policies and procedures within the department.

11. Act as backup for various positions within the Community Programs department, including but not limited to, receptionist and finance and registration secretary.

12. Work as part of a team to contribute to the success of the Community Programs department.

13. Regularly communicate with department finance personnel to ensure timely and proper compensation for new hires, transfers, and promotions.

14. Under the direction of the Assistant Director for Human Resources, screen applications relative to job requirements for open positions and schedule interviews and follow-up meetings as needed. Ensure proper notification to all involved in the interviewing process.

15. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.

16. Perform all other duties as assigned by the Assistant Director of Human Resources for Community Programs, Director of Community programs and/or District Administration staff.

WORKING CONDITIONS MENTAL DEMANDS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ENVIRONMENTAL:

Work with frequent interruptions, maintain emotional control under pressure. Repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer.
