Summary:


The Resident Services Coordinator assists residents and applicants in bridging cultural related needs to adapting to living in the community.

Fluency in Korean and English is required.

Qualifications:

Bilingual based on the needs of the community-Fluency in Korean and English is required.
Understanding of HUD regulations, Social Services available for residents, preferred.
Strong Communication Skills.
Computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

Translate written documentation and verbal conversations to and from English and Korean.
Assist residents in understanding expectations and services available to them when English is not the primary language.
Assist team members in meeting needs of residents when English not primary language.
Assures all residents become comfortable in the community.
Complete and maintain log of all services provided as required.
Advocate for residents when English is not the primary language.
Other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility:
No supervisory responsibility.

Physical Requirements:


Ability to lift up to 20 pounds; ability to stand and sit for more than an hour at a time.


Mental Requirements:


Ability to focus for extensive periods of time on issues, handle resident and co-worker interactions, and multi-task in many various situations.

Ability to focus on computer work a minimum of four hours per day.

Job Type:
