Position Summary:
This position is responsible for leading the reporting and management for all Celebrity Onboard Revenue data and analytics. The position is also responsible for revenue management and data driven optimization of the "My Celebrity Cruise" eCommerce platform and analyzing the shipboard performance of our new demand activation program "Propel: Personalized Retailing Onboard". The Lead uses all available resources to support the Onboard Revenue teams and acts as a strategic collaborator that directs Net Revenue optimization for the team via data-driven insights and guidance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for supporting the continuous development of My Celebrity Cruise, both shoreside and shipboard, as well as providing guidance on maximizing all pre-cruise revenue channels, accounting for more than $250M in annual Onboard Revenue.
- Develops and manages reporting and deep analytics for Celebrity Onboard Revenue areas on time and accurately to enable data-driven decisions for the various OBR area teams.
- Leading production and creation of new Power BI dashboards to share with respective product managers
- Reviews, analyzes and provides recommendations for pricing, promotional, and product initiatives, including the reduction of test data into concise, actionable business recommendations to optimize yield, revenue performance and revenue-driving programs
- Works with Onboard Revenue leadership to support forecast creation for OBR areas and means to measure and provide insights on the forecasts by channel, Meta, Region, Product, etc.
- Proactively identifies ways to optimize revenue and drive margins via data-driven insights and deep analytics.
- Generates and supports KPIs and provides insights for Onboard Revenue stakeholders.
- Manages and develops direct reports to the highest level of proficiencies to support business needs and strategic direction of the organization via data-driven methodologies
- Creates all Trade decks that provide insights into the state of the business in a timely manner and once complete, transition to the relevant OBR areas.
- Works with the OBR data part of the team to create future outlook models to guide the business.
- Helps drive the business forward by researching and recommending new processes and technologies to help improve reporting and analytics. Then, leading the project to test the new processes from start to finish.
- Conduct revenue/profitability analysis for Onboard Revenue channels.
- Analyzes onboard revenue performance to identify and recommend actions to improve results and drive strategic decisions via fact-based and transparent quantitative analyses and shares results in an operationally friendly manner.
- Reviews, analyzes and provides recommendations for pricing, promotional, and product initiatives, including the reduction of test data into concise, actionable business recommendations.
- Prepares fact-based written recommendations to improve financial performance, operational efficiency, and marketing effectiveness.
- Performs variance analyses as needed to evaluate Onboard Revenue performance vs plan, forecast, and prior year.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
- 5+ years of related experience
- Masters or above in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields preferred.
- Knowledge and Skills:
- SQL (EXPERT)
- SAS (EXPERT)
- Data wrangling (EXPERT)
- PowerBI (EXPERT)
- Excel VBA, Macros, Pivots etc. (EXPERT)
- ML/AI etc.
- PowerPoint
- Database business design, implementation, maintenance
- Presentation Skills

- Strong believer in automation
- Ability to clearly and effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
