Senior Accountant

What you'll do:

  • Timely and accurate recording of expense activity in accordance with GAAP.
  • Prepare month-end journal entries and analyses.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that increase accuracy and efficiency.
  • Identify trends or issues that require management's attention.
  • Work with business partners to provide accounting guidance and analysis support.
  • Support internal/external audit requests.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Who you are:

  • 3 to 5 years of accounting experience.
  • BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance (required).
  • Passed or currently sitting for the CPA exam (strongly preferred).
  • International accounting experience a plus.
  • Strong Excel skills as well as the ability to work with large amounts of data.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills- ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Team player able to effectively interact with colleagues and business partners across the company.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships within the team and with business partners across the company
  • Attention to detail and proactive approach.
  • Flexible in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems preferred.
The total cash range for this position in Springfield is $61,500.00 to $86, Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $98,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual's knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
