Field Sales & Operations Analyst
The Field Sales & Operations Analyst is an expansion role to support all of the field services functions for the Stanley Access Technologies business. This is a new role for the division. As such, the successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, who is curious, has a passion for data and demonstrates the creativity to successfully present the data. This person will work cross functional to understand the current state of reports and analytics then providing a plan to simplify and enhance how we review, report, and drive data driven actions. The successful candidate will partner with the leadership team both nationally, regionally, and within the specific markets. Additionally, collaboration with other functions including finance, manufacturing operations, product management, and the broader Allegion organization. This role will provide significant visibility to the candidate within the organization. This is a nascent function, there is opportunity to build the future of the data analytics organization support the Stanley Access Technologies Field Operations and Sales business.
What You Will Do:
- Data Analysis: Proficiency in analyzing large datasets, identifying patterns, and drawing meaningful insights from data.
- Statistical Analysis: Knowledge of statistical methods and techniques to interpret data, perform hypothesis testing, and make data-driven decisions.
- Data Visualization: Ability to present complex data in a visually appealing and understandable manner using tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Python libraries like Matplotlib and Seaborn.
- SQL and Database Management: Proficiency in writing SQL queries to extract, manipulate, and analyze data from relational databases.
- Programming: Familiarity with programming languages such as Python or R for data manipulation, analysis, and automation tasks.
- Data Cleaning and Preprocessing: Skills in cleaning and preprocessing data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability for analysis.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify data-related issues, develop solutions, and optimize processes.
- Review of existing reoccurring reporting package, optimize and consolidate redundancies, establish new reporting packages and cadence.
- Provide ad hoc analysis for key initiatives
- Data Mining and Machine Learning: Knowledge of data mining techniques and machine learning algorithms to uncover patterns, build predictive models, and perform data-driven forecasting.
- Communication and Presentation: Excellent communication skills to effectively convey complex data analysis findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in data analysis and reporting.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Collaboration: Capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, business analysts, and stakeholders, to achieve common goals.
- Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated with the latest tools, techniques, and trends in data analysis and data science.
What You Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree
- 3-5 Years of experience in data analytics reporting & forecasting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerBI and other MS Office applications.
- Experience with SAP and D365
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
