Summary:This role is responsible for developing and maintaining an effective manufacturing process control program, creating new processes, and coordinating standardization with other Weavexx plants.
Nature and Scope:Responsible for reviewing, modifying, approving, and issuing product design information to the manufacturing department, calculating proper product sizing. Continuous improvement of existing processes, establishing new processes for increased productivity, cost savings, improved quality, and safety. Research, develop, document, and train individuals in new processes for equipment and product development. Maintain and control all manufacturing and design procedure manuals, perform Quality Audits, and interact with various stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide written procedures for each operation to ensure consistent manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with Development personnel on new products and processes.
  • Offer day-to-day technical support for manufacturing processes troubleshooting, equipment issues, process variation, etc.
  • Implement new procedures and processes timely with training and follow-up.
  • Develop and standardize procedures to enhance quality and cost.
  • Report and investigate deviations from procedures, emphasize 'safety first' in all processes.
  • Assist in various Manufacturing and Quality Assurance areas as needed.
  • Work on special projects assigned by Plant Manager.
  • Contribute to new product/process development programs with experimental work.
  • Address operating and product problems, improve existing products and processes continuously.
  • Participate in technology transfers between plants and divisions.
  • Conduct Internal Quality Audits as scheduled.
  • Establish and maintain Environmental & Safety Regulatory Compliance Procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards for radiation measuring gauges.

Job Requirements:Requires an Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience in textile processes. Proficiency in statistical methods, as well as strong analytical, computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
