Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in problem-solving, fault diagnosis, and analytical techniques using established methodologies.
  • Possess a solid understanding of technical theories and practices relevant to equipment maintenance.
  • Interpret and analyze electronic, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and facility schematics.
  • Repair electronic circuits at the board level effectively.
  • Utilize various commercial and proprietary software tools for equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Draft equipment specifications and preventive maintenance procedures to enhance equipment efficiency.
  • Prepare specifications for tool purchases and conduct inspections during equipment acquisition.
  • Develop performance metrics such as MTBF, MTTR, Utilization, COO, ROI, and SPC to monitor equipment effectiveness.
  • Assist in training technicians on the operation and maintenance of assigned equipment.
  • Collaborate with process engineering teams to optimize tool and process performance.
  • Provide expert troubleshooting support for assigned tools prior to engaging vendor assistance.
  • Identify potential equipment upgrades and replacements, providing justification for recommendations.
  • Maintain knowledge of equipment theory and operational processes.
  • Familiarity with SECS/GEM protocols, various operating systems, and software tools including Microsoft Office and JMP.
  • Establish and manage spare parts inventory and stock levels.
  • Engage with cross-functional teams to resolve issues through root cause analysis and develop strategies to prevent recurrence.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 4+ years of experience in equipment maintenance, or an Associate's degree with relevant experience.
  • Equivalent military experience will also be considered.
  • Preferred: 2+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Training in handling hazardous materials and chemicals is required.
  • Due to compliance regulations, candidates must be U.S. Citizens, Permanent Residents, or Protected Individuals.
Skills:
  • Ability to read and analyze technical documentation, manuals, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Proficient in writing reports, technical specifications, and procedural documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
Working Environment:
  • Work is conducted in a factory setting, including both open floor and cleanroom environments, all of which are temperature and humidity controlled.
Physical Requirements:
  • Involves minor lifting tasks.

This position may entail responsibilities related to the execution and maintenance of ISO 9000, 9001, 14001, and other applicable standards within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
