Overview: We are looking for an Junior Data Analyst to join us in developing insights to support decision-making for our integrated fundraising team. The analyses you develop will improve the lives of people throughout the world by empowering donors and activists to support our mission-driven clients.

You will be responsible for:

  • Joining each and every one of your colleagues in creating an inclusive workspace;
  • Receiving, processing, and solving a high volume of data issues from clients and client managers;
  • Acting as an interpreter of donor data and presenter of insights; and
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support their data analytics needs.

Must-have qualifications:

  • A passion for statistics and identifying patterns in complex data sets;
  • Experience writing nuanced analytic queries with SQL;
  • Meticulous attention to detail;
  • Intellectual curiosity to innovate on ways to solve data management issues; and
  • Passion, energy, and excitement for progressive and philanthropic causes and all things digital.

Nice-to-have qualifications:

  • Experience with additional key data analytics tools such as Python, Pandas, PySpark, or similar;
  • Professional experience in designing and implementing data analytic solutions to business problems;
  • Experience using business intelligence tools such as Tableau to explore data and present insights; or
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.

Salary range for this role is $67,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a temporary, salaried and benefits eligible position for a limited period lasting no more than 12 months.

We are currently working remotely with no return to office date. Applicants may reside in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, LA, MA, MD, MN, MO, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OR, PA, SC, TX, VA, WA, and WI. Due to FL legislation, MissionWired is required to participate in e-verify.

*Supporting your team on some nights and weekends as we approach high-volume times such as elections may be required.
