As a Child Care Teacher, Your Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning and leading engaging activities based on children's interests and needs
  • Regular communication with parents and documenting important milestones in their child's day
  • Ensuring a safe and clean classroom environment by following procedures and guidelines
Requirements:

Candidates must pass necessary state and company background checks and meet minimum education and experience standards:

  • Minimum 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED
  • Twelve semester units in Child Development, including essential courses like Growth & Development, Child, Family & Community, and Curriculum
  • Three units in Early Childhood Education Infant and Toddler Development
  • AA/BA in Early Childhood Education is a plus
  • Transcripts will be required at the time of hiring
  • At least six months of experience in child care, daycare, or preschool is preferred
