With El Paso's famous year-round sunshine, our members enjoy 12 months of golf on a course blessed with the rolling terrain of the beautiful Franklin Mountains and a sweeping panoramic view overlooking Mexico, Texas and New Mexico. Located at an elevation of 4,700 feet, each hole is different than the one before, from elevated tees to finely groomed greens, challenging every club in your bag.
The club is currently finishing a 4-million-dollar renovation with architect Bill Bergin. New Triple 7 bentgrass greens were seeded along with 25 acres of Tiff Tuff bermuda surrounds and new irrigation.
In this role, you will be responsible for supervising the maintenance of the golf course and the activities of the teammates. This includes monitoring job performance and daily playing conditions for quality standards, maintenance and cleanliness and organization of the maintenance facility (including equipment, materials and tools), participating in agronomic operations, and keeping accurate and timely records of all business activities.
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a great attitude and strong work ethic. A minimum 2-year turf certificate in turf grass management from a recognized college or university.
Physical requirements:
- Exposed to extreme temperatures and inclement weather.
- Required to work days/nights, weekends and holidays
- Required to stand for long periods of time.
- Required to lift/ move up to 40lbs.
- Required to walk constantly. Must be able to acquire Texas state pesticide license within 90 days of employment.
