Role Details

As a Structuring Analyst, you will:
  • Development of model based Strategic Asset Allocations for institutional clients
  • Development of new investment solutions and product concepts
  • Preparation of simulations and sensitivity analyses of various investment strategies and portfolio compositions and further development of the applications used for this in Matlab / Excel / Python
  • Support of the sales and product specialists in client communication of complex investment solutions
  • Elaboration of asset-liability studies for institutional customers on the basis of existing liability profiles including the creation of deterministic- and / or stochastic scenario and sensitivity analyses
  • Structuring of portfolios that replicate the sensitivities of existing liabilities on the customer side
  • Discussion and advice on actuarial assumptions, accounting issues as well as the regulatory environment and its effects on our clients' investment decisions
  • Ongoing analysis of existing solution and consulting approaches and their conceptual further development
We are looking for:
  • Completed university degree with a quantitative focus (e.g. business mathematics, mathematics, computer science or economics with a quantitative focus)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Very good knowledge of capital markets
  • Programming skills, ideally in Python and / or Matlab
  • Professional handling of common MS Office programs, especially Excel (VBA)
  • Very good written and spoken English skills are required
  • Flexibility in learning new tasks and the ability to work carefully and purposefully even under pressure
  • High resilience and a high degree of creativity, initiative and entrepreneurship

The salary range for this position in New York City is $77,000 to $118,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
