JOB SUMMARY:

The Data Integration Specialist will have a strong background in data integration, with experience in collecting, cleaning, transforming, and loading data from various external sources into internal systems. The Data Integration Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of our data. The primary focus of this position will be developing a long-term strategy for intake, processing, cleansing, and loading of acquisition data.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data integration requirements and objectives.
  • Identify and collect data from external sources such as databases, APIs, and file systems.
  • Clean, transform, and standardize data to ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
  • Develop and maintain data integration pipelines and workflows.
  • Monitor data quality and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
  • Optimize data integration processes for efficiency and scalability.
  • Document data integration processes and procedures.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data integration and data management.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications listed below are representative of the elements required to perform the job successfully, however in some cases, an equivalent combination of Education, Training, Certifications and Experience may meet the job qualifications.

Education, Training, Certifications:

  • High school Diploma, or equivalent, required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, preferred.

Experience, Knowledge, Skill Requirements:

  • 10+ years proven experience as a Data Integration Specialist or similar role
  • Solid understanding of data modeling and database concepts.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Communication Skills:

  • Must have the ability to effectively read, write and communicate in English with employees and customers.

Systems and Software Skills:

  • Strong proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Java.

Other Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required.
  • Must be able to comply with SFPH's Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer specific requirements based on contractual agreement.
  • Occasional travel required, up to 10%.
