Job Requirements:

  1. A committed personal relationship with Jesus Christ

  5. Prior experience in banking, credit unions, or financial services is preferred
  6. Strong analytical skills (both quantitative and qualitative) and financial knowledge to perform duties and provide evaluations and recommendations

Excellent organizational, time management, interpersonal communication (both written and verbal), and attention to detail skills are essential for executing responsibilities with the required completeness, accuracy, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct credit analysis, risk assessments, underwriting, and overall evaluation reviews as assigned, collaborating with internal team members to support CIF's Organizational Vision and Values. This includes:

Analyzing and assessing the financial status of both potential and current clients; reviewing completed loan applications and necessary documentation to formulate an initial evaluation of creditworthiness, highlighting both strengths and weaknesses related to a client's current and historical financial situation.

Engaging with both potential and current clients as needed to gather additional information and clarifications required to finalize the assessment.

Preparing and presenting comprehensive credit evaluations and recommendations, which encompass detailed financial statement analysis, attendance trends, various organizational/economic/market factors, project details for construction credits, and in-depth evaluations of secondary repayment sources such as collateral.

Collaborating with Business Development and Loan Committee members; communicating, presenting, and addressing inquiries regarding previously approved credits and those pending approval.

Drafting and processing preliminary and formal lending agreements, along with preparing and managing various related loan agreements, amendments, modifications, and other changes to original terms.

Monitoring and reviewing specific identified and prioritized post-closing existing credits within the loan portfolio as necessary; including oversight of property insurance and collateral, as well as reviewing credit risk analysis of reported changes in client circumstances and their potential impact on prior credit evaluations.

Performing additional duties as required, including support and contributions towards CIF's strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness and customer experience.
