About the Role:

• Position Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

• Compensation: $22/Hour

• Work Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday to Thursday 6AM-3PM and Friday 6AM-12PM.

Key Responsibilities:
Interpret and analyze customer-provided schematics. Thoroughly assess each component against the specifications.Document findings from the schematics onto the data collection forms.Collaborate with the production team to ensure all components meet quality standards throughout the manufacturing process.Comply with AS and ISO regulations.Act as a proactive agent for change, consistently seeking opportunities for improvement within the organization.Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI), In-Process Inspection (IPI), and final inspections, understanding the distinctions between these required evaluations.Recognize the importance of quality, halting production if any components are found to be nonconforming.Work closely with the quality manager and the Director of Quality, participating in cross-departmental training.Preferred Qualifications:
Proficient in using and interpreting measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, indicators, and more.Basic knowledge of ISO and/or AS standards.Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical institution; or five years of relevant experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.Physical Demands:
Ability to sit, use hands for handling or feeling, reach with hands and arms, and communicate effectively.Regularly required to stand and walk. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds regularly, and occasionally up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.What Makes This Role Rewarding:
