Maintain proper records of employee information, attendance, compensation, payroll, benefits, performance, and training.
Ensures the day to day operations of the HR functions and duties are managed appropriately and timely.
Produce and submit reports on general HR activity.
Acts as a liaison between Human Resources and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions.

Manages internal and external inquiries and requests timely and efficiently and maintains a high level of service through effective communication and proactive management of services.

Assist in payroll preparation including reviewing timesheets for accuracy and errors and submitting pay and benefit information for processing.
Prepares and maintains payroll reports for historical records and data analysis.
Ensures compensation changes and historical information is documented.
Assist with managing benefits by maintaining accurate enrollments, monitors costs, and updates changes.
Ensures benefit information and updates are communicated timely and appropriately to staff and documented.
Serves as point of contact with benefit vendors and administrators.

Assists with salary survey data entry and compilation of completed data to validate and update internal salary range and grades ensuring market competitiveness.

Sets up job postings, reviews candidates, and schedules and participates in interviews.
Processes background checks.
Maintains candidate database and assessment information.
Assists with new hire setup and orientation.
Processes termination paperwork and exit interviews.
Assist with performance management procedures and salary administration.
Makes efforts to monitor and elevate employee relations.
Properly handle complaints and grievance procedures including maintaining confidentiality and determining best practice to managing issues.
Assist in resolving employee conflicts.
Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
Maintain training records.
Develops and maintains knowledge of policies and procedures, including team based department and HR confidentiality requirements.
Develops knowledge and experience with all HR regulatory requirements.
Keeps current with service updates and training, both requested and assigned.
Keeps up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
Coordinates HR projects.
Assists with creating policies, processes, communications and documents.

Must demonstrate commitment to member service, dependability and respect for other employees with regular attendance, punctuality and adherence to agreed-upon schedule of availability.

Provides instruction and operational information on routine tasks, policies & procedures to trainees and new staff.
Performs all other miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as assigned.
