Location/Division Specific InformationLocated onsite in Franklin, MA, the Quality Engineer, III will join to support our Chemical Analysis Division (CAD).

A day in the Life:- Hands-on implementation in Quality Assurance/Control
- Auditing (Internal, External, Supplier)
- CAPA ownership and mentoring for all business partners
- Providing support in the creation and monitoring of Nonconformances
- Completion of Complaint Investigations and trending
- Participation on New Product Introduction teams to provide feedback relating the product quality and compliance and the quality management system.
- Use Thermo Fisher Scientific's PPI Business System to drive efficiency and continuous improvement across the Quality function.
- Continuously participate in supplier qualification and monitory supplier quality.
- B.S. in engineering; advanced degree a plus
- Demonstrated ability (5+ years) in Quality Engineering.
- Experience working with multiple projects and focus areas.
- Six Sigma or Lean Training and or Certification preferred.
- Experience with ISO , 13485 and ISO 14971 preferred
- ASQ Quality Engineer certified preferred.
- Must be a proactive problem-solver with an understanding of problem-solving tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to move around a manufacturing setting with personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements including but not limited to: safety glasses protection and closed toed steel footwear.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs unaided.
