We are seeking an Engineering manager with experience in design, analysis, test and integration of motor drives, grid tie systems and exportable power as well as high power DC/DC converters, 3-Phase AC Inverters. This individual will be a discipline manager for Power Electronics and Motor Control engineers within the Power & Energy Management Group.

Duties and responsibilities include the following:Discipline manager to a technical team of Power & Energy management engineers, with responsibilities including mentoring and talent development, performance management, capability advancement, knowledge transfer, project staffing, and other people leadership responsibilities.Strong systems design experience with Isolated and Non-Isolated High Power DC/DC converter topologies (greater than 10kW)Strong systems design experience with High Power AC inverters and Rectifiers (greater than 10kW)Experience with System level DC link interactions between a High Voltage Battery and the main traction Inverter. Strong systems design and architecture experience with Control strategies for power conversion for High Power DC-DC, Rectifiers and Inverters.Strong experience with analyzing customer requirements and writing detailed systems level requirements and architecting the systems using Model Based Design tools.Ability to develop strategic technical and product roadmaps for both technology and business.Ability to work and lead a team in a cross-functional, matrix organized dynamic work environment to fulfill internal and external customers on time with minimal defects or issues. Ability to work with software and firmware-controlled power converters and power systems. Full-Time Salary Range: $ $217400

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
