Job Summary

CRH, a leading infrastructure products company, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee the maintenance and upkeep of our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing maintenance, project management, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to maintenance technicians and plant electricians to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment downtime and optimize production.
  • Manage and supervise maintenance resources, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with production personnel to ensure minimal interference with production and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Design, analyze, and recommend equipment purchases and improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor and control maintenance area parts and material usage, and initiate orders as needed.
  • Provide accurate reports on labor usage and maintenance repair materials.
  • Teach, advocate, and use safe working practices and report hazardous conditions at all times.
Requirements
  • Manufacturing experience required.
  • Experience with equipment and electronics such as motors, drives, air compressors, chillers, grinders, water pumps, electrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
  • 5 years direct manufacturing maintenance experience, with at least 3 years as a manager or supervisor.
  • Strong project management, continuous improvement, and strategic planning experience.
  • Direct experience maintaining manufacturing equipment.
  • Direct involvement with Preventative Maintenance programs and safety systems such as LOTO.
