Hawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide including medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region with high quality, compassionate care. Its four medical centers - Kapi'olani, Pali Momi, Straub and Wilcox - specialize in innovative programs in women's health, pediatric care, cardiovascular services, cancer care, bone and joint services and more. Hawai'i Pacific Health is recognized nationally for its excellence in patient care and the use of electronic health records to improve quality and patient safety.

The Employee Health Services team coordinates and implements programs and activities that protect, promote and advocate for the health and safety of our staff. These include medical surveillance programs, immunization/infectious disease screening and health education/counseling. The Employee Health Services team also participates on committees and projects relevant to employee health, staff safety, infection control and environmental health and safety.

If you are enthusiastic and engaging, you can help to ensure that Hawai'i Pacific Health employees receive excellent preventive and effective health care. As an Employee Health Specialist, you will provide clerical and administrative support to the employee health department and assist the Wellness Coordinator with all of Hawai'i Pacific Health employee wellness initiatives to include coordination of events, program implementation, and data analysis. We are looking for someone innovative and energetic, with excellent communications and planning skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.

Minimum Qualifications: High school or equivalent. Basic computer skills. One (1) year of customer service and/or clerical support experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Associate's Degree. Basic Medical Terminology. One (1) year of experience in a healthcare setting or related experience. Proficient in Excel, Word, and/or other computer applications.

Hawai'i Pacific Health offers a comprehensive and competitive total rewards package that includes pay and benefits. The pay rate, if displayed, is the minimum hourly rate for the position. Rate of pay for selected candidates will be determined by various factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, relevant experience and training, as well as internal peer equity.
