Job Summary: The Safety and Security Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring a secure environment for all individuals within our healthcare facilities. This position involves proactive monitoring and responding to safety concerns, thereby fostering a welcoming atmosphere for patients, visitors, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular patrols of the facility to maintain a visible security presence.
  • Provide assistance and direction to patients and visitors, ensuring a positive experience.
  • Implement safety protocols and participate in emergency response initiatives.
  • Investigate incidents and report findings to appropriate personnel.
  • Collaborate with various departments to enhance overall safety measures.

Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Current Hawaii Security Guard Registration (GDE) license.
  • Valid CPR certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a healthcare security role.

Work Schedule: Rotating shifts, 8 hours per day.
