Position Overview:

Enterprise Model Governance overseas and manage model risk across organization. Senior Risk Analyst, in this team works closely with our cloud development team and drives the product vision and strategy, in partnership with business drivers/sponsors. As one of the closest people in the business to the customers (modeling teams), providing constant feedback to the team and helping to set and drive toward the vision.

Our Impact:

Ensuring implementation and execution of model risk standards by all the modeling teams across Freddie Mac. We equip, consult and support modeling teams to minimize the risk in the model development life cycle.

Your Impact:
  • Handle and lead the data product developments.
  • Own product strategy from inception and determine business value once solution enters production
  • Ensure alignment of product features and stories, i.e., review, give feedback, and prioritize user stories in line with own vision
  • Continuously improve backlog with the team, ensuring all items are clearly described, estimated, and prioritized
  • Handle and lead data product design and requests from modeling team
  • Work with modeling teams and gather their feature and data requests and translate modeling technical requirements to engineering tasks.
  • Work with product tech lead and report bottle necks in development and deployments of features and products and if needed join development team in quality assessment.
  • Track data control executions and own the communication with stakeholders
Qualifications:
  • College Degree or equivalent experience; 5+ years data related experience
  • Prior experience in a Product Management, Ownership role with shown examples of delivery
  • Strong decision-making skills; ability to identify, prioritize, and articulate impact initiatives
  • Experience in programming languages of Python, C++, Java
  • Understanding of agile development and continuous deployment practices. Understanding of scaled agile, release, increments.
  • Strong organization and time management skills: Operates independently with minimal guidance
  • High level of analytical ability to measure the velocity, capacity, and value of teams' contributions
