Who We're Looking For:
EmpiRx Health is experiencing unprecedented growth, and we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP of Sales. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in also building effective sales and support teams and create a pipeline of clients and members (lives) within emerging markets to grow EmpiRx Health's portfolio within health systems. This position is also responsible for partnering with the product team to create a strategic portfolio of solutions while supporting all enterprise and team strategies and initiatives.
What You'll Do:
As the VP of Sales, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding EmpiRx Health's value proposition to deliver passionate pitches through effective story telling.
  • Establish and develop trusted relationships with national and regional benefit consulting firms, direct business, labor groups, health plans and TPAs to secure favorable positions with RFPs.
  • Identify and target high quality RFPs that would be a good fit for EmpiRx Health's value proposition.
  • Collaborate with Sales Enablement and Marketing teams to develop compelling external communication materials to drive a robust pipeline.
  • Coordinate with Marketing on industry sponsorships and conferences that will drive leads within target markets and meet sales strategy goals.
  • Serve as an effective EmpiRx Health subject matter expert when representing the company at external events and conferences.
  • Be the voice of the market and deliver prospect/advisor feedback to Marketing to better position our communications, broaden EmpiRx Health's brand exposure, and facilitate understanding of our value proposition.
  • Collaborate with Client Management to drive Client Referral Program.
  • Responsible becoming expert Salesforce users to log all opportunity information, contacts, leads, and activity to provide a clear picture effectively and efficiently on RFP success and current relationships.
  • Regularly meet with Product to discuss market trends and portfolio enhancements to understand market needs and deliver on new solutions to produce positive RFP outcomes.
  • Be a subject matter expert on all prospects to proactively share detailed information throughout the sales life cycle with stakeholders to deliver and ensure tailored proposals and seamless client transitions.
  • Serves as trusted partner to SVP Strategic Accounts to lead any assigned opportunity for building out the pipeline and providing accurate weekly status updates.

What You Need:

  • Demonstrate 8-10 years of successful experience in business development, consulting, or sales within the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry, with a documented history of consistently exceeding quotas and driving revenue growth.
  • Showcase proficiency in both high-velocity and enterprise-level sales, with the ability to effectively navigate complex sales cycles, negotiate contracts, and close deals across a diverse range of client segments and business models.
  • Possess exceptional listening and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and persuasively to diverse audiences, including C-suite executives, key stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrate professional business acumen, strategic thinking, and a results-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and develop innovative sales strategies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Showcase strong people management skills with a track record of building and developing high-performing sales teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence, and empowering team members to achieve their full potential and deliver exceptional results.
  • Possess strong relationship-building skills, with the ability to cultivate and maintain long-term partnerships with key clients, partners, and industry influencers, leveraging a consultative approach to understand client needs, address pain points, and deliver tailored solutions that drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Prior healthcare experience and a strong familiarity with pharmacy benefits, preferred
