The Human Resources Coordinator performs a wide range of functions and tasks in collaboration with the Human Resources team to support the employment lifecycle of employees firmwide. This position provides administrative support to various functions within Human Resources, including, but not limited to, onboarding, offboarding, employment verification, reporting, employee records, and maintenance of the firm's HRIS.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance and recordkeeping of employee profiles in Paylocity (Firm HRIS), including reporting.
- Provide daily support for HR transactions in JIRA (Firm HR Issues/Project Management Tool).
- Respond to general HR inquiries and employee requests, referring to the HR Manager for any complex or highly sensitive matters.
- Assist with the firmwide employee onboarding processes, ensuring all required tasks are completed upon the Recruiting Specialist verifications.
- Assist with the firmwide employee offboarding processes, including notifications to appropriate teams, the return of firm IT property, and exit interviews and surveys.
- Manage and maintain firmwide employee personnel files, including auditing and retention procedures.
- Assist with the preparation of HR presentations, memorandums, and other documents.
- Assist the HR Manager with special projects, data analysis, and other duties as necessary.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent ability to manage sensitive and confidential information.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with employees of all levels
- Working knowledge of HRIS
- Working knowledge of human resources principles and best practices
- Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite (Work, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Education and Experience
- Associate or bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
- At least three (3) years of experience in a human resources administrative support capacity
- At least one (1) year of HRIS experience
Physical Requirements
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
