Job Summary and Qualifications

The Registered Nurse Clinical Reviewer position encompasses multiple responsibilities including Core Measure chart abstraction, Stroke & STEMI chart review and coordination; performs concurrent chart reviews & is proactive in working with departments on timely corrective actions. Educates staff and physicians on Core Measures and documentation requirements. Develops reports. Will assist in assigned functions and/or reviews, as delegated by the Administrative Quality/PS/RM Director.

What qualifications you will need:

  • Registered Nurse, prefer at least one year of experience
  • Registered Nurse Diploma
  • Previous experience working with Meditech desired.
  • CPPS certification preferred.
  • A sense of the hospital-wide functions. Computer experience, including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with data & reports and surveys helpful.
