Role Responsibilities


The Registered Nurse (RN) will perform the following key functions:

  • Plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate patient care in accordance with established standards.
  • Conduct health assessments by interviewing patients about their medical history and current health status.
  • Identify patient and family needs, providing education and resources as necessary.
  • Offer psychosocial support to patients and their families.
  • Facilitate clinical operations and ensure quality patient care.
  • Manage patient inquiries and document relevant information accurately.
  • Coordinate communication between patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.
  • Assist patients in accessing community resources.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
  • Serve as a resource for LPNs/LVNs and medical assistants.

Qualifications


The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A degree from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of nursing experience, with a strong preference for oncology experience.
  • A current RN state license.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
