POSITION SUMMARY

The Recruiting Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the day-to-day recruiting activities and personnel involved in the recruiting process. Reporting to Operations and Recruitment Leadership, the Recruiting Manager will oversee the WPS Recruiting Team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work in coordination with the Operations, HR and Recruitment Leadership to implement and ensure adherence and consistency in process changes, performance management practices, reporting and project deliverables
  • Generate data and reporting as needed to monitor process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Work with all stakeholders to confirm hiring needs and requirements
  • Create and suggest new and effective sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding procedures and techniques
  • Set clear goals and benchmarks for the recruitment team
  • Ensure all recruiters are providing complete and accurate information to candidates about the company and position
  • Ensure an effective handover by coordinating with CONUS Administrative Specialists, Security Team, and Operations Support Specialists
  • Ensure all recruiters are upholding the confidentiality of applicant information
  • Develop and implement cost effective sourcing strategies to deliver recruiting results
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers, Recruitment Leadership and other HR team members to create a partnership that yields success, results and credibility
  • Collaborate with the Director of Recruiting in leveraging online recruiting resources and in-house applicant tracking system to identify and recruit the very best candidates, both internal and external
  • Review resumes and credentials for appropriateness of skills, experience and knowledge in relation to position requirements
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, experience may be substituted for education
  • Three years of management experience required, recruiting management experience preferred
  • Experience working U.S. Government contracts preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with all levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities to completion
  • Problem solving skills with strong bias for action
  • Ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities

WORKING CONDITIONS

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are Monday-Friday standard core hours, however some extended or weekend hours may be required.
