Mission:

The N.A. Regional Logistics Engineering Manager:

  • Coaches and animates the Sites Logistics Engineering network, with the objectives of improving the direct labor efficiency in logistics and minimizing the logistics costs while accelerating the physical flows from suppliers to customers;
  • Deploys the Group Logistics standards, working methods, methodologies and digital solutions;
  • Performs the training programs on Logistics Engineering network (Logistics engineering team, logistics flow analyst,..)
  • Support the Sites in Value Stream Map usage with main focus on shop floor design and physical flows improvement;
  • Drives continuous improvement actions in Logistics Engineering activities, including automation and new plant layout design or change;
  • Detects and escalate gaps in the Group Safety Standards application

Responsibilities:

Coach and animate the Sites Logistics Engineering network:

  • Ensure that Logistics Engineering teams have the right professional competencies on Logistics standards and tools through regular assessments;
  • Detecting abnormalities and gaps versus the defined standards, contribute to set-up action plans, including those arising from repetitive / critical open incidents;
  • Perform dedicated workshops and coaching to develop Logistics Engineering skills;
  • Standardize job routines to perform tasks in a efficient and robust way;
  • Drive the logistics performance through dedicated KPIs (Logistics Dashboard/P&L)

Deploy the Group Logistics standards, working methods, methodologies and digital solutions:

  • Deploy measured works standards in Logistics to improving the direct labor efficiency (Logistics DLE);
  • Support the deployment of Shop Floor Scheduling solutions regarding physical organization;
  • Promote standardization of packaging & labeling following the Logistics Requirements;
  • Ensure the right management of new project on sites (milestones validation), including Logistics FMEA and project tasks for physical flows and logistics engineering;
  • Support the implementation of physical flows solutions (receiving automation, AGVs, Conveyors, ...)
  • Promote the efficient and accurate usage of the digital solutions and standards, such as WMS - Warehouse Management System, rich ASN, ...
  • Contribute to innovative solutions such as logistics flow simulation, or digital layout solutions;
  • Ensure inventory accuracy, through robust process implementation, including cycle counting organization;
  • Perform the AIS roadmaps and working methods assessment, including team On Job Training related to physical flows and logistics engineering.

Perform the training programs on Logistics Engineering network (Logistics engineering team, logistics flow analyst,..):

  • Standards and tools, such as VSAM, Kanban Loops calculation, Flat storage design, Line feeding design, ...
  • SC & Logistics Fundamentals - physical flows & logistics engineering.

Support the Sites in Value Stream Analysis usage with main focus on shop floor design and physical flows improvement:

  • Benchmark permanently the best supply chain practices inside and outside Antolin;
  • Propose to the Site Logistic Engineering strategy and from the Value Stream Analysis, identify the priorities to maximize the Service Level, minimize the logistic costs and inventories and accelerate the internal physical flows based on MUDA hunting and identified opportunities for improvement;
  • Recognizing the right priorities and focus on plant actual needs.

Detect and escalate gaps in the Group Safety Standards application

Drive continuous improvement actions in Logistics Engineering activities, including automation and new plant layout design or change:

  • Challenge MOQ and Production Batch Size reduction activities, supporting SMED/Flexibility workshops for inventories Optimization Ensure the reporting activities (Site, Region, Group level):
  • Support the local team in Logistics Improvement Workshops (Hoshin, Flow Analysis, Throughput Time reduction, ...)
  • Support Internal physical material flows improvement actions in logistics & production areas based on layout master plan strategy (AGV & Logistics automation);
  • Support on design of receiving, train loops sizing, line feeding and shipping processes

What we are looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Logistics or International Trade, Master's degree is preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Logistics
  • International trade experience with exposure to automotive/industrial businesses is preferred
  • Ability to sit, stand, and has mobility to move around the office or manufacturing environment, when needed
  • Ability to conduct computer work or engage in discussion with employees
