The Franke Foodservice Systems division is a world-leading supplier of kitchen facilities, equipment and supplies solutions. About the job

We are seeking an experienced team leader who has a healthy balance of engineering background and customer development experience in the B2B commercial equipment and fabrication industry.

This newly established global leadership role will report to the Global Vice President of Marketing and will have 3-4 experienced Global Directors of Segment Management reporting to their role and will indirectly lead a team of 10 segment managers, based in each of 3 business units (APAC, AMERICAS, and EMEA). The scope of responsibility is global, working with some of the top global QSR and C-Store brands.

Your tasks
  • Help lead change management as we establish new roles and processes for the Foodservice Division.
  • Partner closely with Sales Leadership in all three regions, APAC, AMERICAS and EMEA and the Global Senior Director of Product Management.
  • Develop and/or update business processes fostering collaboration, transparency and consistent communication between customer, sales, and product management functions.
  • Collaborate with the Global Marketing leadership team, including Strategic Pricing, Product Management, Product Data Management and Marketing Communications.
  • Actively engage in and sponsor critical business processes like GPDP, portfolio management governance, joint business, and strategic business planning.
  • Achieve sales growth targets as defined and market share gains as defined by combining technical product knowledge, engineering aptitude, and strong sales persuasion skills to identify current and future customer needs.
  • Collaborate with frequently product management to turn customer needs/VoC into new products, services, and solutions that generate revenue and improve profitability.
  • Must engage with and support our customers, capturing vital voice of customer and identifying opportunities for the company to solve their needs.
  • Lead the segment management team:
    • That will be responsible for working closely with our customers and our sales teams.
    • That will partner with global product management to launch new products and drive sustainable, profitable growth.
    • That will feed into and influence the direction of the product roadmaps.
    • That will help support product lifecycle initiatives with respect to customer engagement, support, and execution.
  • Ability to travel up to 40% with international travel for business collaboration.
  • Develop, maintain and sustain relationships with Brands including corporate/HQ, equipment teams and accounts to assure complete understanding and knowledge of customer operational and menu objectives and plans along wit customer political atmosphere.
Requirements
  • A 4-year degree is essential.
  • 5 years of product development/engineering experience.
  • 5 years in a commercial/sales role, business development, or key account management.
  • 4 years in a people leadership role, including talent management, performance management, recruiting, and people development.
