POSITION SUMMARY

EWA Government Systems Inc. (GSI) is seeking a Configuration Management Specialist to perform administrative professional responsibilities by maintaining and organizing files, both physical and digital. As the Specialist, you will ensure the accuracy, accessibility, consistency, and compliance of documents in accordance with internal policies and industry standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES (not limited to):

  • Maintain adequate storage, cataloguing, and retrieval of documents. This may involve maintaining paper files, electronic files, or even databases.
  • Schedule and coordinate document change reviews through the entire process to ensure consistency and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish standard documentation templates, formats, and styles, as necessary.
  • Review, improve, and enforce documentation policies and delivery schedules.
  • Review and edit documentation for accuracy and completeness.
  • Provide occasional guidance to staff on policies, procedures, structures, and processes.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in document management or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Attention to detail and excellent editing and proofreading skills.
  • Must possess familiarity with document management processes and/or software applications.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work alone with minimal supervision and collaboratively with a larger team.
