As the Development Coordinator, you will be an integral member of Unity Care's Development team and collaborate with the Director of Development to support behind-the-scenes processes, including donation entry, grant writing, financial reconciliation, and database management. This is not a marketing position.

To be successful, you should have:

Bachelor's degree preferred with 1-3 years of relevant experience in office administrative support, project management, event coordination, or related fields; prior nonprofit experience is advantageous.Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, experience with databases and internet research, and familiarity with Boomerang and Wealth Engine are a plus.Solid customer service abilities with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including grammar and reading; effective in team collaboration.Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, problem-solve, and work independently; flexible schedule; basic telephone and electronic mail protocol knowledge.Your responsibilities as the Development Coordinator will include the following:Manage the entire donor gift entry and acknowledgment process, including drafting, proofreading, and mailing donor acknowledgment letters.Research potential grant opportunities, maintain a grants calendar, and prepare grant proposals for leadership approval.Support donor campaigns by managing the CRM, updating contact information, and coordinating with vendors.Collaborate with the Finance department on gift processing and assist with social media and website content.Coordinate special events, including recruiting volunteers, organizing board meetings, and preparing meeting minutes.Ready to transform lives and shape a brighter future for our youth Apply today
