Business Development Manager

- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and market trends.
- Analyze competitor activities and industry developments to inform business strategies.
- Business Strategy Development:
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve sales and growth targets.
- Identify and evaluate potential partnerships, alliances, and market opportunities.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Evaluate and negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Sales and Revenue Growth:
- Drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while actively seeking out new partnerships and customers.
- Team Leadership and Coordination:
- Work closely with the marketing, engineering, and product development teams to align business development efforts with company objectives.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects and contracts.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, contracts, and transactions.

The Successful Applicant - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field. BS in Engineering is a plus. A Master's degree is also a plus.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related role in the industrial power systems sector. Focus on rectifiers is preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Strong understanding of the industrial power systems market and products.
- Understanding of the sales and marketing process for highly engineered, premium product selling to industries, OEMs and EPCs.
- Understanding of the strategies and effects of disruptive technologies in the marketplace.
- Ability to communicate accessibly and concisely about product or service to outsiders, including prospective customers and clients, partners, vendors.
