About the role:

As the Sustainable Procurement & Supplier Diversity Senior Manager at FIS, your responsibilities will include the ongoing execution, development, and enhancement of our Supplier Diversity and Sustainable Procurement Programs.
Understanding business trends, you will provide leadership and support to the Supply Chain Management team and will be a trusted advisor to our internal key stakeholders and leaders. As the Program Lead, you will be accountable for setting and maintaining goals and standards that further our sustainable supply chain practices and enable business risk mitigation and compliance with requirements in the countries FIS operates. Furthermore, you will establish and maintain strategic partnerships with small and diverse advocacy groups by identifying mutually beneficial opportunities to increase engagement, foster connections and seek opportunities in the communities we serve. This will involve rigorous attention to research and metrics including a range of tactical, operational, and strategic activities to optimize and drive successful outcomes.
Success in this role requires understanding of procurement and sourcing processes, sustainable sourcing practices and personal commitment to supplier diversity and sustainability.

What you will be doing:

Procurement

  • Engage with Category Managers and key stakeholders to create alignment across FIS' Supplier Diversity and Sustainable Procurement program and goals.
  • Drive collaboration between Supply Chain & Real Estate Management (SCMREF), Office of Inclusion and Diversity, and Environmental and Social Governance (ESG) teams.
  • Lead education objectives and journey for Supply Chain and Real Estate Management (SCMREF) and, more broadly, FIS leaders on the importance of Supplier Diversity & Sustainable Procurement
  • Manage communications with suppliers offering guidance on Company's programs and processes, including facilitating onboarding of prospective diverse suppliers through the company's Supplier Portal.
  • Oversee the completion of corporate surveys, award applications and client RFP responses.
  • Develop and update program content for communications, presentations, and internal and external website,
  • Analyze diverse participation requirements, collaborate with stakeholder groups and sourcing project leads on bid response, supplier identification, and participation plans.
  • Generate, update, and analyze Supplier Diversity and Sustainable Procurement reports, scorecards, and dashboards.
  • Oversee FIS Key Supplier Partnership Program that includes both, Supplier Diversity and Sustainability criteria: monitor, and deliver program metrics.

Supplier Diversity

  • Lead the globalization of the Supplier Diversity Program outside of the US: identify and champion opportunities to increase diverse spend.
  • Manage and monitor the Supplier Diversity registration process and oversee distribution of vendor data for sourcing opportunities and stakeholder relationship engagement.
  • Work with Category teams to integrate supplier diversity end-to-end to drive diverse supplier spend growth; assist in evaluating proposals and developing inclusion option.
  • Manage Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier participation requirements and process, including quarterly tracking and annual reporting with the support of FIS data enrichment supplier.
  • Support small businesses and Minority Owned Businesses to find success in RFX processes, with FIS or others, through engagement and capability-building.
  • Manage ongoing partnerships in the supplier diversity community and involvement with national or local chapters of major diversity organizations (e.g., SBA, NMSDC, WBENC, MSDUK, etc.).
  • Enhance external and internal visibility by participating on Supplier Diversity boards and committees.

Sustainable Procurement

  • Manage the continuous evaluation of top suppliers against ESG criteria.
  • Drive the incorporation of Ecovadis into procurement decision making process and program maintenance.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform the development of sustainable sourcing initiatives and monitor for continuous improvement.
  • In coordination with the ESG team, monitor country policies relative to ESG to assess impact on business operations and objectives.
  • Develop and deliver ongoing sustainability awareness activities across SCM as part of the Be SustainABLE campaign, including case studies, webinars and educational content.
  • Advise Category teams to support the implementation of internal and supplier sustainability initiatives.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree Required; Advanced Degree Preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years supplier diversity, sustainability, and/or procurement experience
  • Knowledge of supplier diversity, sustainability and ESG trends & reporting platforms required (i.e.. Ecovadis, , CDP, etc.)
  • Agility to work globally considering the regional differences in cultures and work practices.
  • Demonstrated history of effectively coordinating conflicting priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and coordinate multiple workstreams toward a common objective.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, organization, problem solving and influencing skills.
  • Expertise in analyzing data, development of key metrics, establishing trends, project management and reporting.
  • Proficiency to operate independently.
  • Proficiency with MS Office, including data visualization tools.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
  • Champion in environmental and social progress issues.
  • Established social presence.
  • Demonstrated experience working with supply chain functions and procedures.
  • Ability to lead vendors to successful outcomes for FIS.
