We are currently seeking a driven individual to enhance our supply chain and logistics team. Key Responsibilities

Reporting directly to the President of AFFCO USA, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Efficient Order Processing: Ensure the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Communication: Provide clear and timely updates to customers regarding shipping details and any changes to order volumes or timelines.
  • Support to Leadership: Assist the President with comprehensive information regarding customer needs and requests.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the allocation of inventory, ensuring a First In, First Out (FIFO) approach unless otherwise approved.
  • Collaboration with AFFCO New Zealand: Maintain effective communication with staff across AFFCO offices, providing updates on inventory and shipment details as necessary.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • A tertiary qualification in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A solid understanding of supply chain dynamics, logistics, and supplier networks.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to analyze data related to pricing, costs, and margins.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of procurement processes, logistics, and planning principles is preferred.
