Position Summary

As a Senior Culinary Operations Manager, you will have the opportunity to lead and inspire a talented culinary team. This role is pivotal in overseeing culinary operations, ensuring that food production is efficient, safe, and aligned with current trends. You will take charge of menu creation, inventory management, procurement, food cost control, and the development of staff.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary, a matching 401K plan, a five-day work week, and unlimited paid time off after 90 days, along with opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain high culinary standards across retail, board meals, dining, and catering services.
  • Provide training, development, and motivational leadership to the culinary team.
  • Champion Corporate Social Responsibility initiatives, seasonal food sourcing, wellness programs, and high-quality culinary practices.
  • Evaluate ongoing performance and trends within the operation, implementing necessary improvements.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of daily menu items and effectively communicate them to customers.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Culinary degree is preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Services Technology/Management or a related field is preferred.
  • Three to five years of progressive culinary or kitchen management experience.
  • Experience in planning and managing catering events from a culinary perspective.
  • Strong leadership abilities and a passion for working with an industry leader.
  • In-depth knowledge of food and catering trends, focusing on quality, production, sanitation, food cost management, and presentation.
  • Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office and internet applications.
  • Effective communication skills across various levels, including management and team members.
  • ServSafe Certification is required.
