Your new role

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a growing team in the New York office and realizing the advantages of a complete 'Follow the Sun' operating model. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Investment Operations US, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Provide point-of-contact support for the asset management and transaction lifecycle events related to Infrastructure, Property, Private Equity and Private Credit
  • Support the co-ordination and management of activities associated with the implementation of new Private Market Investments activity
  • Contribute to the implementation of the Private Markets operating model
  • Responsible for ensuring alternative asset lifecycle events are captured accurately and available in a timely manner for the inclusion in the Funds' Member Crediting Rates
  • Jointly lead the successful delivery of the complete suite of Investment Operations Services into the Investment teams

What you'll need

Culture is key at AustralianSuper and we are looking for someone who is a team player that enjoys working in a high performing collaborative team. The successful applicant will have a background with exposure to transactional lifecycle events associated with global listed markets across a wide range of asset classes. In addition, an enthusiasm for continuous improvement and the mitigation of risks, and a client service mindset. They will be able to communicate effectively and have an ability to find creative solutions to the challenges encountered.

  • Minimum of 2+ years financial services experience, preferably from fund management or banking environment
  • Knowledge of and experience working with Private Market assets and their operational lifecycle events
  • A tertiary qualification in Business, Accounting, Finance or Treasury disciplines
  • Strong understanding of custodian, fund accounting and unit pricing processes
  • Experience working at a Fund Manager or Custodian is desirable
  • Exposure to ABOR data management, Fund Accounting, Investment Operations or Investment Governance

Pay transparency notice

The salary range for this position is $78,000 to $91,000 (this is based on full-time hours, located in New York City). The base pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience and refers to the amount AustralianSuper is willing to pay at the time of posting.
