Job Summary: The Administrative Assistant II provides administrative support for the operations of unit. Performs moderately complex and well documented administrative tasks. Acts as office liaison/receptionist. Receives and routes phone calls, emails, and/or guests. Maintains files and enters data. Drafts and sends communications on supervisor/departmental staff behalf. Reconciles P-Card/Concur for other staff/faculty against departmental budget. Performs some simple budget monitoring/entry. Operates standard office equipment such as personal computers, copiers, fax machines, etc.
Additional Department Summary: Provides high-level administrative support to the Assistant Dean for Accreditation and Evaluation (ADAE) in helping Capstone College of Nursing achieve its mission, vision, and goals. Assists with the management of all aspects of evaluation and accreditation, including data collection, management, analysis, reporting, and compliance with accreditation standards. Communicates clearly and professionally with faculty, staff, peers, community partners, and students. Coordinates meetings and document meeting minutes. Prepares various reports and documents necessary for maintaining accreditation and evaluation processes.
Required Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED and two (2) years of administrative experience; OR associate's degree or higher.
Skills and Knowledge: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional organizational and computer skills. Good judgment and problem-solving skills. Expertise in appropriately prioritizing multiple tasks. Ability to function independently. Excellent skills in word processing, data base management, proofreading, and multi task prioritization.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors or higher degree. Administrative experience in managing an office and meeting needs of multiple individuals.
